Hazel is a half-fairy, soon-to-be-ex-lawyer who (along with her guitar-player would-like-to-be-girlfriend) gets drafted into saving a phoenix egg from every magical faction on the planet; a cross-country adventure ensues. It’s a fun story and not super-serious, so if you need a break from All the Things these days, it might be what you’re looking for.
